Miss Amy Reinert - Owner/Educator/Private Instruction

Amy Reinert is a graduate of Indiana University School of Music with a Bachelors Degree in Instrumental and Vocal Music Education majoring in Percussion.  Amy has been teaching for over 13 years and her teaching experience includes private instrumental music instruction, Band and Orchestra Director and Elementary Music Specialist.  In addition to teaching Kindermusik, Amy is currently the Band Director at Trinity Lutheran School in Elkhart, where she also teaches African Drum Circles, General Music and Music Technology.  

Music and the Arts is has always been a big part of the Reinert family household.  Amy's husband Jeff is a Choir Director, Assistant Band Director, and North Side Middle School Drama Club Director for Elkhart Public schools.   In their free time, Amy and Jeff both teach private music lessons at their home.  They have 2 very musical daughters Angela and Julianne.



Miss Amanda Wilson - Kindermusik Educator

Miss Amanda received her Kindermusik license in 2003 after taking classes with her daughter. "I was hooked by the first class and honestly don't know who had more fun- me or my 18-month-old!" recalls Amanda. A life-long music-lover, Amanda sang and played the family's violin throughout her school years and knew she wanted music to be an important part of her children's lives. With a bachelor's degree in Communication from Saint Mary's College, Amanda now spends most of her time communicating through music with the little people in her life. Amanda has seen all three of her daughters learn and grow through Kindermusik and is excited to share these experiences with other families.


Miss Heather Johnson - Kindermusik Educator/Private Instruction

Heather Has been teaching music for 6 years. She's a graduate of Carthage College, Kenosha,WI with a degree in General and Instrumental Music Education. Her teaching experiences include private instrumental lessons, classroom music teacher, and band director. 
Heather enjoys spending her free time with her husband Gary and daughter Naomi. She plays piano for her church and grew up studying flute.  Her studies continued through college and music has continually been a part of her and her family's life.



Miss Melissa Mary Whitaker - Kindermusik Educator/Voice Private Instruction

Ms. Whitaker-Auvil holds a bachelors degree in music education from Central Michigan University and a masters degree in voice performance from the University of Missouri Kansas City.  In Kansas City Ms. Whitaker-Auvil  performed with the Lyric Opera of Kansas City, Kansas City Metro Opera Company, CrossCurrent's Theatre, UMKC Opera Department, UMKC Musical Theatre Department  and the St. Peter's Players.  Roles have included La Ciesca in Gianni Schicchi, Rose Hoffman in Working, Giunone in Il ritorno d'Ulisse in patria, Dew Fairy in Hansel and Gretel and Edith in The Pirates of Penzance.  Ms. Whitaker-Auvil has taught privately for ten years and Kindermusik for two years.
